An eight-speed automatic is reportedly to be available late in the year, as we predicted, but it seems to be optional even in non-SRT8 trim; a model so equipped can reportedly hit 30 mpg. The distinctive headlights are bi-functional projector types, next to LED daytime running lamps, which together form a “C” shape for on-road presence. For improved aerodynamics and visibility, the windshield has been raked back 3 inches, while rolled-framed doors with thinner pillars improve outward visibility by 15%. A new dual-pane panoramic sunroof provides Chrysler 300 passengers with twice the outward visibility of a standard sunroof. The Chrysler 300 has chrome daylight openings, chrome front and rear fascia accents, and optional 20-inch polished-aluminum wheels.
